We all know that change is a constant in our work and personal lives, and constant change (along with the uncertainty that comes with it) takes up a lot of bandwidth. It’s hard to plan for a busy day or week when you know that you’re going to need to shift gears and make plans on the fly.
Humans are amazingly resilient, but as all of us have learned over the past two years, we can’t rely on that resiliency constantly. Incorporating some certainty and stability into your schedule can go a long way in helping you have a more balanced, productive life.
Today, I’d like to share a Harvard Business Review article that discusses change exhaustion. So take a break, reclaim some bandwidth, and give this article a read. I think you’ll find it interesting.
